How to install python in Linux?

First check that Python3 is already installed in your linux(ubuntu) operating system or not by running the following command from the terminal:
python3 --version

If you see a response with the version of Python. It means python3 already installed in your Ubuntu operating system. Otherwise, you can install Python3 using a package management system.
you can install Python 3.10 on Ubuntu using apt command:
sudo apt install python3.10

How to check python version in Linux?

Open the linux(ubuntu) terminal and type command to check python version:
python3 --version

How to run python program in linux(ubuntu) terminal

1.) Open the text editor.
2.) Type the python code.
3.) Save the file with ".py" extension.
4.) Open linux(ubuntu) terminal and go in that location where you have save python program file.

Type command to run ".py" file.
python3 filename.py
